BE EUROPE PODCAST – "The European Union for Young People"

“BE EUROPE PODCAST” is the new youth communication project promoted by the Europe Direct Venezia Veneto and Eurodesk networks, coordinated by the Youth Information Service of the Municipality of Bassano del Grappa and the Associazione “Amici del Villaggio” APS, with the operational support of the Universal Civil Service team and volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps. The initiative focuses on active European citizenship, youth participation and the promotion of the many opportunities offered by the European Union – in particular through Erasmus+, the ESC (European Solidarity Corps), internships, traineeships and other mobility opportunities. A podcast designed to tell the story of Europe to young people.

“BE EUROPE PODCAST” consists of a series of thematic episodes dedicated to: exploring EU programmes for young people and sharing first-hand experiences. The podcast features interviews with local service representatives such asEurodesk, Europe Direct and Associazione Eurocultura,  as well as young people who have lived international mobility experiences, trainees, volunteers and young entrepreneurs involved in European projects.

It is a true journey into European citizenship, told with the language of young people, for young people: not only information, but also inspiration and guidance through real-life stories, success examples and transformative experiences.

 A project in line with European Youth Policies

“BE EUROPE PODCAST” fully reflects the three strategic pillars of EU youth policies: Engage, Connect, Empower. It values active participation, connection between peers and institutions, strengthening skills and civic awareness. The objective is to show how Europe is part of young people’s everyday lives, connecting EU institutions with experiences lived at the local level. Each episode becomes a piece of a wider journey of awareness, helping young people understand what it means to be a European citizen today.
