Film plot:
In the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, two hours away from the coast of Lazio, there is a small island, more like a large rock: Ventotene. On the island, more than 80 years ago, a group of hungry and exiled people began working on an idea. An idea that envisioned a united Europe that could end wars and conflicts. Today, with Europe in emergency, between Covid 19, Brexit, and anti-European movements, starting from the history and work of French artist Daniel Buren, "A Colored Manifesto," as well as Altiero Spinelli, six young activists from the founding countries of the EU, and a representative from the United Kingdom, have come to the island of Ventotene to "search" for what will be the European Union of the future.
