Friday 6th of May 2022 at "A Tree for Europe" event was held with a tree planting ceremony at the Mestre Woods. The initiative is part of the #ATreeForEurope campaign, which was created through the collaboration of the City of Venice with the European Parliament and the spanish youth association Equipo Europa, in order to give visibility to the importance of sustainable development in the local sphere and especially make young people participate in green awareness processes.
