Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 9.30 to 12.30 was held in Mestre at the conference hall of the Candiani Cultural Center the award ceremony of the competition "Become European citizens" - edition a.s. 2024-2025 in collaboration with MI - USR Regional School Office for Veneto and MFE European Federalist Movement.

The competition "Let’s become European citizens" a.s. 2024/2025 for young people and schools was organized by the European Federalist Movement in collaboration with Europe Direct of the Municipality of Venice to stimulate active and conscious European citizenship. Competition for the three-year students of secondary schools in Veneto.

The meeting was attended by schools participating in the "At School of Europe" cycle and applying for the "Let’s become European citizens" competition:

- Institute "ENAIP" of Padua
- State Technical Institute "Giuseppe Mazzotti" of Treviso
- Higher Education Institute "Veronese-Marconi" of Chioggia (VE)
-Higher Education Institute "A. Gritti" of Venice-Mestre
-Liceo Scientifico Statale "U. Morin" of Venice-Mestre
- Liceo Statale "Luigi Stefanini" of Venice-Mestre

The total number of schools involved is six from three different provinces: Padua, Treviso and Venice. The total of students involved is 26 participants, of which 7 are prize winners and 9 special mentions, for a total of 16 prizes and special mentions.

The winners have been awarded an official certificate and will participate in a holiday and European training stay in Nocera Umbra (PG) from 21 to 26 July 2025.

With the occasion was presented the call for tenders for the International Competition of Communication and Creativity "Climate ChanCe" which reaches its thirteenth edition. The international competition of communication and creativity for published and unpublished works on the theme of climate change is organized by the Shylock University Theatre Center of Venice, In collaboration with Europe Direct of the Municipality of Venice and the Ca' Foscari University of Venice and under the patronage of CMCC, WWF ITALIA, LEGAMBIENTE e ISDE ITALIA - MEDICI PER L'AMBIENTE. The initiative aims to enhance works and projects that offer an effective message on the theme of the climate crisis and the environmental and social aspects related to it.
