From 8 to 11 May 2025, Pavè - Pedalando a Venezia was held, the narrative bike festival that for the fourth year creates a community space to reflect together on the times we live in and imagine new worlds. With 23 talks, 2 films and 1 photographic installation, for the fourth year Pavè created a community space to reflect on the times we live in and imagine new worlds. We pedaled with the spectacular gravel rides around the Venice Lagoon, with the ultra ride on the pedemontana between Treviso and Pordenone and with the Bike Polo.

The bike festival “PAVÈ, pedaling in Venice” was conceived and created by La Velostazione Venezia, in collaboration with M9-Museo del '900 and Veneto Land of Venice, with the patronage of the Veneto Region, IUAV University of Venice, Le città in festa of the Municipality of Venice, Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice, Caorle Venezia, FIAB Federazione Italiana Ambiente e Bicicletta. The locations of the event were the auditorium of M9 Museo del ‘900 for the days of Friday and Saturday and the Parco San Giuliano on Sunday where the Pavè Village was set up for the departure of the gravel rides and the Bike Polo demonstration.

This year Pavè has broadened its horizons and on Sunday 11 May we cycled through new scenarios with three unsupported routes, designed for those who love adventure on two wheels. The Pavé Classic gravel rides were confirmed, an immersion in the heart of the Venetian district between lagoon, rivers and dirt roads, in two routes, 90 and 150 km, for a maximum of 500 participants, with a suggestive return by dedicated ferry-boat. For those looking for a more demanding challenge, new for 2025 will be Pavè Infinita, it was a night-time journey of 330 km and 1600 m D+, historically and culturally rich, which aspires to show the territory on the most beautiful roads, between history and breathtaking landscapes.
For the occasion, the institutional gazebo of Europe Direct Venezia Veneto was set up where you could discover everything there is to know about the European Union and the opportunities it offers to the citizens of Veneto and Venice. At the stand, European information material was available on topics such as European funding programs, the rights of European citizens, study and work opportunities abroad and much more.
