Also this year the in-depth analysis of the news, culture and public opinion of the countries of the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean area will be treated by the professors of the Department of Asia and Mediterranean Africa Studies of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, they will talk about and comment on aspects of recent history and life in Greece, Israel, Tunisia, Algeria and Iran. This formula aims to explain, within the framework of crisis and rapid evolution that is transforming the whole area, what are the cultural references and mentalities formed in the long term and capable of influencing the changes taking place. It is a pleasure for the organizers and the teachers to contribute to the knowledge of the lifestyle and reasonining patterns of our neighbors on the other side of the sea, to escape the conditioning of commonplaces and strengthen the humanistic approach of the Italian and European tradition.
