On Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Istanbul Convention Conference titled “Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence: the Council of Europe's Istanbul Convention and its Impact in the EU and Italian Systems” was held at the Santa Margherita-Emanuele Severino Auditorium of Ca' Foscari University Venice, Dorsoduro 3689, Venice. The event was organized in collaboration between the Department of Economics of Ca' Foscari University, the Unico di Garanzia Committee of Ca' Foscari University of Venice, the SIDI Interest Group, the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Verona, Ocean, Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the City of Venice, and the Council of Europe Venice Office.
Participation was free after registering at this form.
On this occasion was presented the volume Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence. A Commentary on the Istanbul Convention by Sara de Vido e Micaela Frulli della casa editrice Edward Elgar Publishing.
