From Wednesday, 27 May to Sunday, 31 May 2026, the Venice Boat Show takes place at the Arsenale of Venice.
The Venice Boat Show returns for its seventh edition from Wednesday, 27 May to Sunday, 31 May 2026, with five days of events. In 2026, Venice once again hosts one of the main international trade fairs dedicated to the nautical sector. The exhibition venue is the Arsenale of Venice, a symbol of the centuries-long military power of the Serenissima Republic and the beating heart of its shipbuilding industry. It is a unique historical setting in the very centre of Venice, consisting of a water basin and fully restored historic pavilions.
The exhibition spaces are spread across a water basin covering 50,000 sqm, with over 1,000 linear metres of docks for displays and more than 200 berths dedicated to yachts, superyachts, sailing boats and other types of vessels. There is also an outdoor exhibition area of 30,000 sqm and an indoor exhibition area of 5,000 sqm. The event showcases the excellence of international recreational boating.
An event that explores every aspect of boating and shipbuilding: design, engines, and the environment.
The Venice Boat Show is promoted by the Municipality of Venice and organised by Vela spa, in collaboration with the Italian Navy.
In the month of May, three events take place within the Venice Boat Show as part of the Europe Day celebrations in Venice 2026:
The Venice Boat Show at the Arsenale of Venice is part of EDM European Maritime Day In My Country, a wide range of European events aimed at raising public awareness about the importance of oceans and seas and engaging citizens, particularly young people.

=> On Wednesday, 27 May 2026, within the Venice Boat Show at Tesa 102, CNR-ISMAR, Auditorium Tagliapietra of the Arsenale of Venice, at 3:00 pm, the screening of the documentary "Ocean with David Attenborough" took place, organised by CNR-ISMAR in collaboration with Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the City of Venice. Free admission upon booking if you enter the CNR-ISMAR without going through the Venice Boat Show, either by public transport or on foot. Alternatively, you could watch the documentary from within the Venice Boat Show by purchasing an entry ticket for the show itself.
The meeting point for those without a ticket was outside Tesa 105, whilst those already inside the Boat Show could enter directly via Tesa 102.

Following this, at 4.00 pm, there was a talk entitled "Europe for the BLUE ECONOMY: working towards the development of businesses and the maritime economy through EU funds", organised by the Venice-Rovigo Chamber of Commerce and Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the City of Venice, which focused on pilot initiatives and opportunities for citizens and businesses arising from active projects in the Veneto region.
