On Wednesday 6 May 2026, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm, the awards ceremony for the schools in the Veneto region that have taken part in the “EPAS – European Parliament Ambassador School” project will be held in the conference room of the Candiani Cultural Centre in Mestre, in collaboration with the European Parliament Office in Milan.
The European Parliament Ambassador School Programme (EPAS) involves schools across Europe and consists of an annual training programme that culminates in a ceremony at which the European Parliament Ambassador School plaque is presented and unveiled. The programme aims to bring students closer to Europe and the European Parliament in particular, to explain how it works, to encourage interaction between students and MEPs, and to provide young people with useful information on the training, internship and job opportunities available in Europe.
Thanks to the collaboration between Europe Direct Venezia Veneto and the European Parliament Office in Milan, this meeting marks the final event of the EPAS European Parliament Ambassador Schools project for secondary schools in the Veneto region, which will share the progress made this year.

The awards ceremony will take place in the Conference Hall at the Candiani Cultural Centre, Piazzale Luigi Candiani 7, Mestre-Venice (VE).
Admission is open to the public and to the schools taking part.

The event is part of the programme for the Europe Day 2026 in Venice.
