Shorts on tap
Shorts On Tap arrives in Venice for the fifth time this August with a review of short films titled Fuori Campo. Also this year the event in collaboration with Circuito Cinema and #CineMoving2025 will be presented by actor and director Mattia Berto.
A true celebration of the independent short film, Fuori Campo will bring to Campo San Polo a program of unpublished works, through a variety of themes and subjects ranging from experimental short films to dramatic films, up to animated shorts.
In the magical setting of open-air cinema in Campo San Polo, we will present a selection of short films from all over Europe, looking at themes, stories and original subjects captured by the lens of independent filmmakers. The screenings of the shorts will be followed by a question and answer session between the present directors and the audience. Shorts On Tap was born in London in 2013 from an idea of the Venetian Filippo Polesel. Since then, the festival has become a real point of reference for independent filmmakers and not in the British capital.

Venice Film Week
In conjunction with the last evening of Cinemoving, takes place the final event of the Venice Film Week with an outdoor screening in Campo San Polo, designed specifically for the Venetian public. On the programme, a selection of contemporary Italian cinema, with an original and cutting-edge look, but suitable for a wide and intergenerational audience. The stories tell today’s Italy with irony, humanity and independent spirit, offering a fresh and often surprising look at our society.
