Publication: "Guide to European Funding 2026"

The publication "Guide to European Funding 2026" is now available. It has been produced by Eurosportello-Unioncamere del Veneto in collaboration with the Brussels Delegation and Venicepromex, with the support of the Europe Direct of the Municipality of Venice, the Europe Direct of the Municipality of Padua, andEurope Direct Montagna Veneta. It should always be borne in mind that the three overarching priorities—digital transition, green transition, and European economic and social resilience—are common to all funding programmes.

Prepared by Eleonora Marton, Federico Bastarolo, and Jamila Rodella, the Guide to European Funding 2026 aims to provide citizens, businesses, and public bodies with an up-to-date overview of the main European Union funding opportunities available under the 2021–2027 programming period, which has now entered its final implementation phase.

The 2026 edition includes significant updates compared with previous years. It adopts a more practical approach and a more selective focus, highlighting the programmes that are most relevant to competitiveness, innovation, and the green and digital transitions. The content has been organised to make consultation easier and more immediate, thanks to a consistent structure for each programme profile and enhanced guidance to help users navigate access to funding opportunities.

In particular, the Guide presents the main directly managed EU programmes, including Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, InvestEU, Erasmus+, Creative Europe, and other key funding instruments. It also provides an overview of shared management programmes, such as those under the Cohesion Policy and the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), as well as territorial cooperation programmes, including Interreg.

The Guide to European Funding 2026 is available in digital format on the Unioncamere del Veneto website. A printed copy will also soon be available free of charge from Europe Direct Venezia Veneto, located at Via Spalti 28, 30174 Venice Mestre, during opening hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.).

On Tuesday, 26 May 2026, the Guide will be officially presented during an online event starting at 11:00 a.m., as part of the Europe Day Festival in Venice 2026, entitled "A Space for Democracy."
