14.03.2026 - Marzo Donna 2026 Theatrical recital "Without distinction of sex - Lina Merlin"

On Saturday, 14 March 2026, at 5.30 p.m., the theatrical recital "Senza distinzione di sesso - Lina Merlin elected in Veneto Constituent Mother and Senator of the Republic" will be held in Mestre at the Candiani Cultural Centre, Auditorium IV floor, P.le Luigi Candiani, 7, 30174 Venice (VE). The event is produced by the cultural association Arte-Mide in collaboration with the cultural association rEsistenze-memoria e storia delle donne in Veneto, the Candiani Cultural Centre and Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice.

The event aims to raise awareness of the biography and political commitment of this important woman who lived through the 20th century and her contribution to the approval of laws defending the dignity, freedom and equality of women, and is part of the initiatives of Marzo Donna 2026.
