On Wednesday 20 January, at 5:00 p.m., on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day 2026, the meeting ‘We Are Memory - Remembering the Shoah with New Eyes’ will be held in Venice at the Scoletta dei Calegheri, Campo San Tomà, San Polo 2857.

Matteo Corradini, author of the book Noi Siamo Memoria (We Are Memory) (Erickson), will explore the complex and broad theme of memory in order to renew its meaning and look at history (and ourselves) with different eyes.
This project is part of a programme on the teaching of memory, designed for primary and secondary schools, with the aim of introducing boys and girls to the history of the Shoah in an educational and light-hearted way, with a desire for freedom and experimentation, through reflection and numerous practical activities. The book is an aid for teachers who wish to give meaning to memory and transform it into an opportunity for growth and the development of awareness.
