The Biodiversity Gateway and the Institute of Marine Sciences of the National Research Council (CNR-ISMAR), with the patronage of the Municipality of Venice, present “Naturalmente Connessi” (Naturally Connected), a festival that will enliven the city from 28 to 30 November with dialogues, meetings, workshops and performances dedicated to the wonder and complexity of life on our planet. For three days, scientists, artists, writers and citizens will give voice to an open dialogue between science, art and society in some of the city's main cultural venues. The festival will take the public on a journey through ecosystems, languages and stories, exploring the deep connection between humans and nature.

The programme includes workshops and experiential activities for children and families, organised by CNR-ISMAR and the Giancarlo Ligabue Natural History Museum. Visitors will be able to observe organisms under a microscope, explore the flora and fauna of the Venice Lagoon and discover the invisible threads that link the natural environment to human well-being. There will also be guided tours and “biodiversity trails” through museums, research centres and cultural institutions.
