05.05.2025 CAFFÈ EUROPA series of meetings "Architectural heritage for sustainable development"

On Monday 5 May 2025, from 4:30 p.m. at Caffè Florian, Piazza San Marco, Venice, "Architectural heritage for sustainable development" was held, the first meeting of the "CAFFE' EUROPA" cycle, a successful format of the European Parliament - Information Office in Milan with citizens.

The "CAFFE' EUROPA" series of meetings is an unmissable event of the Europe Day in Venice and this meeting is the result of the collaboration between Europe Direct of the Municipality of Venice and the Council of Europe - Venice Office.

 

Landscape, including architectural heritage, is a fundamental component of Europe's cultural heritage which, if integrated with social, economic and environmental needs, can contribute to the sustainable development of society. We have also analysed these aspects in the light of the 25th anniversary of the Council of Europe Landscape Convention, which aims to promote the protection, management and planning of landscapes throughout Europe, and the Granada Convention for the protection of the architectural heritage of Europe.
