Marzo Donna 2024

During the month of March, MARZO DONNA 2024 is celebrated with a series of events proposed by the Venice City Council. The Venice City Council promotes and coordinates a rich calendar of initiatives proposed by many organisations in the area: presentations, conferences and exhibitions.

8 March is International Women's Rights Day, also known as Women's Day, to commemorate both the social, economic and political achievements and the discrimination and violence that women have been and still are subjected to in all parts of the world. 

Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice collaborates in some of the initiatives included in Women's March 2024 organised by Ca' Foscari University of Venice:
