3.04.2019 meeting "Europe for young people. Girls and boys, let's talk about Europe?"
Wednsday April the 4th 2019 at 6 pm was held in Spinea the meeting "Europe for young people. Girls and boys, let's talk about Europe?", an occasion to discuss with the citizens about the hopes, expectations and future of the European Union, paying particular attention to young people, the will be new voters in the next elections of the European Parliament on 26 May 2019. Through the experience of Clara Stevanato, editor-in-chief of the Europhonica radio network and colleague of Antonio Megalizzi (struck in Strasbourg during the terrorist attack on 11 December), there has been space to talk about Europe and to share the experience of young people who believe that Europe can be a home for all.
With the occasion, the city of Spinea has inaugurated the Europe Direct Spinea Front Office in via Pisacane 3, partner of the venetian sub-net of Europe Direct Venice of the Municipality of Venice.
The venue of the meeting was Cinema Bersaglieri (via Roma 221, spinea-Venezia). Admission free until availability.
This meeting was the result of the collaboration between the Department of Culture of the City of Spinea and Europe Direct Venice Veneto and is part of the campaign #thistimeimvoting.eu to raise awareness and actively involve young people and the citizenship in the preparation of informative events.
