28.11.2019 Infoday on Erasums+ and opportunities for young people

November the 28th 2019 at 4.30 pm, the Progetto Giovani office of the Municipality of Padua organizes the meeting "Infoday on Erasmus + and opportunities for young people".

The meeting is organized in collaboration with Eurodesk Italy, a local agency of Progetto Giovani. The office is also a partner of the Veneto Europe Network, led by the Municipality of Venice.
The meeting is part of the "Explore the world ... Veneto in Movimento!" Cycle, information meetings for citizens on the subject of mobility in Europe, promoted by the Europe Direct service of the Municipality of Venice. The complete program of the meetings can be consulted at this link.

Topics covered:

Studying, training, working, carrying out volunteer projects abroad are activities that increase people's skills, promote personal development, adaptability and increase their employability. The mobility of young people, understood as a valuable opportunity for growth, is the key to unlocking the potential of people, regardless of their age and the social context in which they live.

The mobility experience should be seen from a perspective of "lifelong learning", aimed not only at the acquisition of new skills but also at the "social and civic" development of the person, meeting and intercultural exchange.

The program:

• Presentation of international mobility opportunities for young people - by the Eurodesk and Europe Direct networks;
• the Erasmus + program with particular reference to youth exchanges and the new European Solidarity Corps program - by the operators of the Youth Area in the Europe Space area;
  testimonials from young people about their experiences with Erasmus +;   
• presentation of Tandem App, an application that allows volunteers from different countries to get to know each other, share documents, ideas and photos - by the Glocal Factory association.
