Monday, May 12, 2025 from 16.30 at the café of VIU - Venice International University in the Island of San Servolo in Venice, there was the meeting  "EU, geopolitics and international trade", second meeting of the Cycle "CAFFE' EUROPA", fortunate format of the European Parliament - Information Office in Milan with the citizens, where an update is given on various topics.  The cycle of meetings "CAFFE' EUROPA" is an unmissable appointment of the Festival of Europe in Venice and this meeting is the result of the collaboration between Europe Direct of the Municipality of Venice and the Ca' Foscari University of Venice.
English-language coffee reflected on the challenges for the European Union posed by the imposition of trade duties by the US. There was talk of tariffs, countermeasures, EU and US negotiations but also global scenarios.
