06.03.2026 - Marzo Donna 2026 "Pane e Mimose" Award Ceremony

On Friday, 6 March 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the award ceremony for the third edition of the "Pane e Mimose" artistic-literary competition was held in Venice at the Auditorium Santa Margherita. The competition was organised by the Archivio Scritture Scrittrici Migranti of Ca' Foscari University of Venice, CUG, LEI, Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice, and the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice.
During the event, there also was a presentation of the second edition of the mentoring project “Professione poesia”.

The Archivio Scritture Scrittrici Migranti of Ca' Foscari University of Venice wishes to commemorate 8 March with a series of initiatives dedicated to women, as a testament to the strength and abilities that lie within all of us and which offer the first tool in the fight against a society that, despite proclamations and celebrations, often considers women's dignity to be something to be trampled on, if not ignored.

The event was held at the Auditorium Santa Margherita – Aula Emanuele Severino Dorsoduro 3689, 30123 Venice.
Free admission subject to availability.
The event is part of the Marzo Donna 2026 initiatives.
