Front Offices

The Municipality of Venice has ensured continuity of the European information service for citizens through a dedicated information desk since 1998 as IPE - Info Point Europa and since 2004 as Europe Direct. Europe Direct is an information service within the Citizen Communication Department. 

EUROPE DIRECT OFFICES OF THE VENICE MUNICIPALITY:

 
- Venice
The Europe Direct service has its office in Venice at Ca' Loredan-Ca' Farsetti Palace, the municipal headquarters in the heart of the historic city, just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, and accessible to people with disabilities.
 
The office is easily reachable by local public transport, as the Line 1 and Line 2 vaporetto services, which connect the Railway Station and Piazzale Roma to the city center, stop just one minute away from the Municipality building.
 
The office is located on the ground floor, near the entrance, next to the URP (Public Relations Office), and is identified by a dedicated information totem. The spaces dedicated to the Europe Direct service include:

  • an area to welcome the public
  • an area for consultation and reading
  • a location for internet for online researches
  • three workstations 
 
- Mestre
The Europe Direct service has its office in Mestre at 28 Via Spalti, located just a short walk from Piazza Ferretto and accessible to people with disabilities.
 
The office is easily reachable by local public transport.
 
The office is located on the ground floor, adjacent to the URP (Public Relations Office), and is identified by a dedicated information totem.
 
           
 

- Veneto
The Europe Direct Venezia Veneto service of the Municipality of Venice operates a network of 35 decentralized information desks across 27 institutional partners throughout the Veneto region. You can also contact these information desks, which are widely distributed across the regional territory to ensure comprehensive coverage (search the closest office to you).
