Commemoration of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2022

January 27, anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp, is the international day of commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.  
On the occasion of the commemoration of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Europe Direct Venice Veneto collaborates to the activities proposed by the City of Venice and from many other local organizations: book presentations, film screenings, concerts, photo exhibitions.

The calendar of meetings, exhibitions, book presentations and film screenings to keep alive the memory of what happened is very busy between January and February 2022. Here is the link to the complete programme.

In the picture of the programme of the Municipality of Venicefor the Memorial Day of 2022, the Council of Europe has cured with the assistance of the Council of the Veneto Region, CoopCulture, Jewish Mueum in Venice, Association Sons of the Shoah - Venice Section, in collaboration with Ca' Foscari University of Venice and Europe Direct Venezia, four moments to remember: 
- Presentation of the book: Italians in Auschwitz (1943-1945) Deportation, forced labor. A mosaic of victims.
