The 2023 edition of the contest has given particular attention, though not exclusive, to some thematic aspects:

  • The feminine realization on the climate crisis scenary. New approaches and questions about the choice of maternity.
  • New collective or individual lifestyles: social and environmental adaptation forms.
  • Northern Italy of contrasts, from economic primacy to climate hot spot in the Po Valley.
  • The destiny of Venice, divided between laboratory city or uncontrolled drift.
  • Europe of people, of environment, of solidal solutions.

The initiative aimed to stimulate the ideation and the production of communicative and artistic instruments on the topic of climate change, by giving value to a constructive or purposeful approach on the same stream of the deepening of basic knowledge of the last international relations about the topic. The contest underlined the urgence of adaptation actions and mitigation of the effects of climate change, dictated by the scientific community and by the United Nations along with the World Conference of Paris in 2015, and through the IPCC with the Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5°C - SR15 of 2018 and by the AR6 Report of 2022, besides the evidence of the worsening of natural phenomena detected at an international level.
