Publication "A guide to European funding in 2025"
The publication "A guide to European funding in 2025", produced by Unioncamere del Veneto-Eurosportello Veneto in collaboration with the Brussels Delegation and Venicepromex, with the support of the Europe Direct office of the Municipality of Venice, is available online, of the Municipality of Padova and Europe Direct Montagna Veneta. It should always be borne in mind that the three thematic priorities (digital transition, green transition and European economic and social resilience) are common to all programmes.
The European Funding Guide 2025 was created with the aim of updating and informing citizens and businesses on the European Programming for the period 2021-2027, offering an overview of the main direct funding programmes made available by the European Commission.
The Guide to European Funding 2025 is available in digital version on the website of UNIONCAMERE DEL VENETO and you can also pick up the Guide in paper format at the Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the Municipality of Venice in Via Spalti 28, 30174 Venezia Mestre (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.00 to 13.00).
This publication provides an overview of the main European programmes, with a focus on direct managed programmes promoted and managed by the European Commission and a comparison to indirect managed programmes administered by individual member countries. Among the latter, the so-called structural funds play a key role in supporting economic, social and territorial development in the Union. In addition to traditional European programmes such as Horizon Europe, InvestEU, Digital Europe, Erasmus+, Creative Europe and LIFE, the Guide briefly examines the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP), the RePowerEU plan and the Cohesion Policy, the pillar of investment in the European Union.
In the 2025 edition of the Guide, a space has been dedicated to the objectives and founding values of the European Union, necessary to understand the meaning and direction of European policies. Knowing these principles not only helps to better navigate funding opportunities, but also allows to build proposals consistent with the vision of a united, supportive and inclusive Europe.
The 2025 Guide is divided into topics and thematic areas: research, technological development and competitiveness (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, Single Market 2021-2027), energy and environment (LIFE 2021-2027 and REpower EU), agriculture (CAP), education and culture (Erasmus+, Creative Europe), tourism, justice, equality and social change (Justice, Rights and Values 2021-2027), health (EU4Health), taxation and customs (Customs 2021-2027), infrastructure and transport (Connecting Europe mechanism), international cooperation (Neighbourhood, development cooperation and international cooperation NDICI), financial instruments for economic and social recovery (InvestEU), Cohesion Policy (INTERREG 2021-2027), other funds.
