25.11.2025 November for Women

On the occasion of 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, established by the United Nations in 1999, the City of Venice joins in honoring this important day in collaboration with Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, which has organized a program of initiatives to promote reflection on women’s rights and gender equality.

 

Europe Direct Venezia Veneto of the City of Venice, represented by Dr. Francesca Vianello, will take part in the opening institutional greetings of the round table “Women’s Time. A Time for All”, which will be held on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Aula Baratto – Ca’ Foscari, Dorsoduro 3246. The event will focus on the value of time as a space of freedom and recognition for women, with contributions from various local organizations.
