Voting for citizens belonging to the European Union
Citizens belonging to the European Union have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote in elections for the European Parliament, the City Council and Municipal Councils by submitting a specific application (see section ‘What to do for...’).
Who it is for
EU citizens residing in the Municipality of Venice.
What to do
The request must be made by completing the following forms:
modulo d'iscrizione liste aggiunte elezioni amministrative (registration form for additional lists for local elections)
Once printed and completed, the application, together with a non-certified copy of the applicant's identity document, must be submitted to the Electoral Office in one of the following ways:
- in person at the office
- by email to: servizio.elettorale@comune.venezia.it
- by certified email to: elettorale_statistica@pec.comune.venezia.it
The voter, or a person delegated by them, will be given a personal voter card that will allow them to vote at the polling station indicated on the card.
Validity
Registration remains valid until the voter no longer meets the requirements of the law or until their death.
How much does it cost
There are no costs for users.
Quality standards
Registration is finalised at the first available revision of the electoral rolls
