Political and administrative structure
The Municipality of Genoa has the following main bodies: Municipality Council, Political- Administra-tion Committee and the Mayor.
The Municipality Council is the body of political and administrative control. The Political-Administration Committee is the decision-maker. It has 14 Deputy Mayors.
At administrative level there are 15 departments (Culture and City promotion, Communication, City Plan etc.).
