The Municipality of Venice welcomes its partners in the club of the city friends
Venice is a place which represents, in the collective imagination of all, an incredible mixture of art and culture, entertainment and leisure, tradition and high society life. It is difficult to escape the great charm of this city, the fascination that attracts millions of people to the lagoon each year. Credit must be given to the capability of Venice to be in the vanguard of many aspects of social development of both its traditions and innovative projects.
In such a peculiar context the Municipal Government is constantly taking steps to assure the maintenance and development of the city as well as the mainland and the lagoon as a whole. The City of Venice would like to involve private and public partners in this process in order to establish a relationship of collaboration which will be an advantage both for the City and for the image of each company.
For its most important partners the City of Venice institutes the "club" of the Friends of Venice, being selected the companies that carry more in their heart the valorisation of the events and the traditional festivals, the support to initiatives and plans, and above all the safeguard and the development of the city as a whole. Whoever joins the project, can communicate with profit the partnership, thanks to the notoriety of Venice and the authority given from the role of official supporter of the city and of its beauties.
