The "Art vaporetto", a new waterbus line dedicated to tourists  will connect the main sites of the cultural heritage in Venice. It will leave from Santa Lucia Railway station and end at San Giorgio Maggiore, with 8 stops in between, and will run every 30 minutes, from 9 am until 8 pm.  It will work like the Hop-On, Hop-Off buses:  with the  special ticket., costing 22 €, a welcome kit including a city map,  discount coupons and other information about cultural institutions who are partners in the project, will be supplied.

Tickets will available both on site (at the main vaporetto stops) and
on-line (at www.veniceconnected.com, the tourist portal of the City of Venice).
Those buying on-line will get a reduced price; it will also be possible to buy
group tickets and a supplementary ticket at a special price to use all other
vaporetto lines. Together with the tickets, visitors will receive a free

Finally, there will be audio and video tools
on board to give information about the cultural events of the day.
