Events Calendar

The Tourism Events Community is a community where users can share their comments, their experiences and their suggestions on the events taking place in the city: by registering and participating in the community you will be part of a virtual social network dedicated to the events taking place in Venice.
 
Participation rules:
 
1.     anybody can contribute 
2.     if you want to contribute, you have to register
3.     comments will be moderated before posting
4.     you will be expected to observe a netiquette, allowing for the service to be a polite one.
 
 
Using Web 2.0 and its philosophy based on sharing and on participation, through the web sharing applications to be found in the Municipality of Venice website,  you can send via email or share on either Facebook or Myspace, as well as forward to Google and Twitter, the events you like the most, as well as your comments.
 
To comment or vote on the Tourism Events

To post your comments onto the Events Calendar you should observe the netiquette, the etiquette governing how to behave in virtual communication.  
 
"Observing the netiquette is not required by any law, but it is based on a generally shared convention" (from Wikipedia) 

While writing your comment, we kindly ask you to observe these simple rules:

1.    stick to the topic
2.    be polite
3.    limit the content to 250 characters
4.    do not "shout" by typing in all capital letters
5.    check your text before posting
 
Should the netiquette rules not be complied with by the users, the moderator shall be entitled to:

- change the message by inserting the symbols ********* to replace any offensive and vulgar words
- delete the message
- ban the user.
