The Junghans Theatre, inaugurated in 2005, is the latest theatre opened in Venice. The building, which used to be a bunker where bomb fuses produced by the Junghans factory were kept, is located on the Giudecca island. With its small stage and its stalls which can seat no more than 150 people, the theatre creates an intimate artmosphere. Besides, its apsidal and steps structure makes it suitable for conferences and university lectures.
