The tide gauge and meteorologial network

The implementation of the meteorological network and ongoing maintenance of the stations is by
SIAP + Micros s.r.l. from Bologna

For some stations (Piattaforma ISMAR-CNR, Punta salute, Palazzo Cavalli, Diga Sud Lido, Diga Nord Malamocco, Diga Sud Chioggia, Laguna Nord Saline, Burano, Murano and Chioggia), hourly data of of the thirty days prior to the date hereof are provided.
Data are given in STANDARD TIME.

Data displayed, updated every 24 hours, come automatically from monitoring stations in the area and does not undergo any process of validation by the staff of the Centre.
Automatic stations provide only one level of control over data that can not therefore be considered definitive.
Heights of the tide, recorded by the instruments of the meteorological network of the Venice Lagoon, are referred to the fundamental level of the altimetrcal network of the State (1897).
