The Regata Storica is one of the most spectacular, picturesque and moving events of Venetian life, capable of both charming the tourists and exciting the locals.
4.00 pm - Procession of traditional Venitian boats and lavish historic costume at Ca' Foscari. The procession leaves at 3.45 pm from St.Mark's basin
5.00 pm - Youth rowers' regatta on 2-oar 'pupparini'
Route: Castello public gardens, St. Mark's basin, Grand Canal, Rialto(turning buoy at Banca d'Italia), finishing line at Ca' Foscari
5.15 pm - Women's regatta on 2 - oar 'mascarete'
