The Campiello literary prize

The Campiello literary prize

The Campiello literary prize, instituted in 1962 by the Veneto industrialists, with the aim of establishing a link between economy and culture, is one of the most prestigious prizes in Italy.

Every year a jury comprising men of letters and literary critics shortlists five novels, from which a popular jury formed by 300 people chooses the winner.
