Show by Marillina Fortuna. All the works presented, are litter assemblies carried in by the sea over to the shore. Unprocessed material, regenerated, refined, modelled by the sea, the artist uses it just as collected, colourless or without changing its shape. Venice actually is a fish, looking at the map in fact it resembles an enormous sole fish.

Twentyone still lifes by Giorgio Morandi (Bologna, 1890 – 1964), some of which are from private collections and are on public display for the very first time. “Silent and humble” paintings in which the colours “vibrate with a slightly subdued brilliance that seems to come from within ... a style of painting that belongs perfectly in the perceptive and mental space between the visible and invisible" (Francesco Poli, from the exhibition catalogue).

Sixty works by the Belgian artist mainly expressed through technologies of graphic art, and contemporary engraving. His works are achieved through experimental technologies, like the imprinted cards, sculptures, inspired to the initial engraving works and, to the latest silver accomplishments.

The exhibition celebrates the twentieth year from the space telescope launch, originating from collaboration between the NASA and the ESA on this historical project and on results obtained that were of enormous impact on the developement of astronomical knowledge.
A series of astronomical images describing the astronauts’ work during missions,
Images and samples of instruments used during the latest shuttle mission in May 2009.
For a couple of hours at sunset, luminous signals in various wave lengths of far away galaxies
will be projected on the Palazzo Franchetti façade,
and stylized images of the most distant galaxies will be projected on the meadow.
