The Neverending Story (German: Die unendliche Geschichte) the German fantasy novel by Michael Ende, first published in 1979, is one of the most popular books of the late twentieth century: an exhibition to learn more about the author,his fortune in Italy, the translation of the fantastic in Rome, his relationship with the Italian artists and German-Romania, his friendship with Angelo Branduardi and his fundamental relationship with hisfather, the surrealist painter Edgar Ende.

On exhibit 275 Osella (commemorative coins) - considered among the most important coins in the world for its iconographic beauty and historical significance - the Doges' gift to the Venetian noble families to replace the traditional gift of ducks ("oselle", in the Venetian language ).
On show some rare examples of gold and double oselle, and the very rare Osella of Doge Andrea Gritti, minted in 1523.
